What this site is
PipeFreezeNights reports county-level climate normals from NOAA. It is informational only. It is not a weather forecast, an inspection of your plumbing, or advice from a licensed plumber.
No warranty on the figures
Every figure traces to NOAA station records, but a county average blended from nearby stations cannot say how cold your own yard, crawlspace or outside wall gets on a given night. Nothing here is guaranteed to match a specific house or a specific winter, and no figure should be the sole basis for a plumbing, insurance or purchase decision.
Safety
Never thaw a pipe with an open flame, and never use a space heater near water or unattended. If a pipe has burst, shut off the main water supply first, and switch off power to any area where water reaches outlets or appliances.
